Can Hard Work Bring Entry to the Kingdom of Heaven?

By Sheila, Kenya

Christian Preaching: How Can We Be Free From the Bondage of Sin?

The Lord Jesus said, “Truly, truly, I say to you, Whoever commits sin is the servant of sin. And the servant stays not in the house for ever: but the son stays ever” (John 8: 34–35). The Lord’s words tell us that if people cannot rid themselves of the bondage and shackles of sin, and they continue to commit sins, then they are the servants of sin and shall never enter the kingdom of God. Reading this passage of Scripture, many faithful brothers and sisters will think of how they sin in the day only to confess at night, and so they will worry that they live in sin and cannot enter the kingdom of God, and they will be anguished in their hearts. They believe in the Lord, so why can’t they rid of themselves of sin? Just how can we rid ourselves of the shackles of sin? We will now fellowship on this aspect of the truth.

The Mystery of the Lord’s Return

By Li Chunmei, South Korea

I gained faith in the Lord in 2012. I often heard the pastor say in gatherings, “The Bible says, ‘You men of Galilee, why stand you gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as you have seen Him go into heaven’ (Acts 1:11).
